First off, of course, you need to know what’s important while taking admission to the hostel. The university offers separate accommodation for girls and boys. Hostel accommodation will be provided to bona fide students after they secure admission to a degree program in the university.
2. Hostel Rules
While getting admission to a hostel may be the easier bit, retaining the position requires effort on the student’s end. Keep in mind some important rules while enjoying your time in the hostel:
- Failure to submit monthly dues will result in eviction.
- Students cannot change rooms without the permission of hostel authorities.
- Any illegal or rude conduct will lead to eviction on prompt notice.
3. Hostel Fee And Subscription
Hostel fee is subject to change every year/semester. So, you cannot expect to pay the same each year in a 4-year degree program. Note here that failure to submit the dues in time will lead to your leaving the hotel. That’s non-negotiable. However, you can apply for readmission and return to the former position.

- By the 7th of each month, you will have to pay for the mess service and clear the former arrears.
- Food will be served in the hall only. No room service is available.
- Day scholars can avail of the mess service after they have enrolled in the official record.
- If the student leaves the hostel without leaving mess dues, a fine of Rs. 100 per day will be charged and the receipt will be forwarded to the Controller of Examinations.
- This way, you will have to clear your payment before taking the exam.
