The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sukkur was established on 8.10.1979 under the provision of the Ordinance mentioned in above, The Offices of the Board was firstly established in a portion of A.B.D Law College Sukkur, then shifted in the rented bungalows situated in Muslim Housing Society at Military Road Sukkur. The Board occupied its own present premises/officers in the year 1985. Later on, all the Institutions of Daulatpur Taluka of District Nawabshah were also shifted to the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Hyderabad in the year 2002. The Board is providing examination & certification facilities to the students of the region. The first annual examination of class IX and XI were held in the year 1980, by the newly appointed inexperienced staff with limited resource and meager accommodation.
