Eligibility For MS Programs
- All Pakistani nationals with the required qualification.
- Preferably first class academic career. However, one-second division is allowed except in the final degree. In case of semester system, a CGPA 2.5 out of 4 in the final degree is required.
- Candidates having BS (4-year)/ MSc in Chemistry, Computer, Geology must have studied Physics and Mathematics at the undergraduate level.
- Candidates expecting completion of their degree requirements by the end of 2017 may also apply.
- Age limit: There is no age limit for admission on a regular fee basis. However, for fellowships, the age limit is 32 years for MBBS Doctors and 27 years for all other disciplines as on December 31, 2017.
Merit will be determined by PIEAS Admission Test and Interview.

MS Funding For Medical Doctors, Scientists, And Engineers
(PAEC & Other Fellowships)
- Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) and some other government departments offer a fellowship to MS students at PIEAS and KINPOE:
- A stipend of Rs. 25000/- per month with full I fee-waiver.
- Free hostel, transport & indoor medical treatment
- Have to pledge a bond to serve PAEC/Sponsoring department for 5 years after completion of their degree.
- Appointment after completion of studies as Junior Scientist, Junior Engineer or Medical Officer (in SPS-8) with 3 advance increments.
- Eligibility for promotion to Senior Scientist, Senior Engineer or Senior Medical Officer (in SPS-9) after two years of service.

Ph.D. At PIEAS

• MS (18-year education) in the relevant field and at least 3.0 CGPA (out of 4) or equivalent in MS/M Phil degree.
• Subject GRE (International)/ GAT-Subject test conducted by NTS as per HEC requirements.
• HEC scholarship holders can apply.
• Serving applicants have to provide NOC from their employers.
• Ph.D. candidates can apply at any time after qualifying subject test.
• Final selection will be made after a thorough Interview of the eligible candidates.

Criteria:
• Minimum 60% in both Matriculation/ 0-level (Science) and Intermediate/ A-level
• Pre-Engineering for BS Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
• Physics & Mathematics for BS Computer & Information Sciences
Candidates with the pre-medical background, who have taken Mathematics as the additional subject are also eligible.
• Students awaiting their final result, but expecting to secure the required percentage of marks may also apply.
• Selection shall be made strictly on merit determined by:
• Pl EAS Admission Test – 60%
• Matric – 15%
• F.Sc. or F.Sc. (Part I) – 25%
• level / A-Level – 40% of 0-Level equivalence from IBCC
OR
• Admission on the basis of SAT scores:
• SAT II result of three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics level 11)
• A minimum score of 2000 is required.
• SAT scores must reach Registrar, PIEAS, latest by July 10, 2017.
• The PIEAS institutional code to receive SAT scores is 7272.

• The application processing fee must be deposited in the PIEAS University online Account No. 00427991660803 (Title of Account: PIEAS-APF) All HBL Branches in Pakistan.
• There will be no bank service charges for submission of fee through any branch of HBL.
