Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) is a private university situated at Kahuta Road, Sihala, Islamabad.
CUST was established in 1998. It is approved by PEC/HEC.

- Electrical Engineering
- The field of Electrical Engineering is a broad one, encompassing a host of sub-disciplines and applications. In order to enter the field, a student must complete an undergraduate curriculum in Electrical Engineering and have at least three years of work experience in the industry before being admitted to a graduate program. A master’s degree is usually required for employment in the private sector, but many graduates choose to pursue a PhD.

Admission At CUST
Admissions are opened twice a year for the Fall and Spring semesters.
Previous academic qualifications and marks in the admission test (GAT/NAT) along with the interview matters in obtaining admission in CUST.

Admission Process For CUST
- Apply online at the CUST Online Admission Portal
- Submit application processing fee at the Bank of Punjab.
- An Admission Test Letter would be given to you along with the university test date and time.
- Bring the Admission Test Letter with you for the test.
- Admission result will be announced online.
- Selection Letter and Fee Challan will be given to your online university account.
- You can then attend Orientation and classes after submitting the Fee Challan.
Eligibility Criteria Of CUST
Each Undergraduate degree course has a different percentage of marks required in Intermediate level to gain admission in the respective field:-
- BS Engineering Programs – 60% marks
- BS Computer Science and BS Software Engineering Programs – 50% marks
- BS Biosciences, Microbiology and Biotechnology – 50% marks
- BS in Psychology, Accounting and Finance and BBA – 45% marks
The Postgraduate Programs require the following:
- Minimum 16-year schooling
- Minimum 2.00/4.00 CGPA
- 50% marks in annual system
PhD Programs requires the following:
- MS/MPhil degrees in relevant disciplines
- Minimum 3.00/4.00 CGPA
- 60% marks in annual system
