How I forget you guys, I know what happened to your MCAT scores, don’t scared. It’s time to get rid of the saying of our society, “Log Kya Kahain Gy.” What I say to you, follow your passion. Believe me! It will save your life. Don’t you know what does Iqbal says? “Apny Mann Main Doob Ky Paa Ja Sarege Zindagi”. It means you should discover your passion. You should discover why you were born.
The biggest problem of our education system is it doesn’t define the word passion. I am going to define passion in my own wording. Are you excited to listen?
“The passion is the work that you can do for 12 hours, the work you can do for 12 hours without getting tired, the work you can do without getting worried about money, the work when you do you come out of space and time, the work when you do you don’t get bored, the work when you do you want to do it more and more.”
Does it make sense now? Now ask yourself if MBBS is your passion or a socially accepted line of study chosen for you by others. This would help you in future, trust me.

It’s no secret that in our society, it is called “Dangar Doctor”, believe me, the so-called label is really strange. Now for an unbelievable part! Nowadays, most DVM doctors are earning more than an MBBS doctor. Yes, that is quite true. It is one of the best options for the boys who haven’t made to MBBS and BDS.

My second pick is DPT, Doctor of Physical therapy. DPT has a wide scope in Pakistan in many areas of specialization. In this course, you study Anatomy,
Physiology, Kinesiology, Biostatistics, Biochemistry and Genetics, Medical Physics – more than 20 subjects. And yes, you guessed it right. The course content is much like that of MBBS.
“When a Pakistani cricket team player is injured, the man you see in the field who sprays his body is basically is not your Chachu rather a DPT doctor.” 😀

Do You Know, My Elder Did This?
It’s the field chosen by my elder brother who failed to get admission in an MBBS medical college. I saw him crying when he didn’t get the marks he wanted.
My father told him to repeat in Pre-Eng, but he didn’t – he said he didn’t want to waste a year. He got selected at the University of Punjab for MMG. He has done M. Phil recently and got the degree a few months ago.
Now he is doing a government job of grade 17 as a microbiologist that has a starting salary of more than Rs. 80,000 (BS 17 Grade Salary+Technical Allowance). What you should you learn from this? Allah plans the best!
