At last, after one-and-a-half-month, Lahore High Court of Pakistan has ordered to retake the MDCAT due to paper leak, and students get another chance to prepare for the entry test.
Authorities don’t want to see the further delay; it will be taken again in 10 to 15 days said by the minister in a press conference.
According to the investigation that has been done so far reveals that the doctors, non-doctors and famous academies were involved in leaking the paper.
A press conference held on Thursday at Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR), and the spoke person was Khawaja Salman Rafique who is the Minister for Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education.
Moreover, the minister admitted that UHS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Junaid Safraz Khan had been sent on a forced leave to probe his role in this severe mishap.
It is also worth mentioning that the entire system of MDCAT will be reviewed in a such a way it’s completely transparent and foolproof to uphold the merit.
