After Lahore High Court of Pakistan ordered to retake the exam, here’s everything that you need to need to know about applying for MDCAT again.

Do you know? According to the official document, the students don’t need to apply again rather you have done everything, but fresh students can’t apply at all.

The test will be taken on Sunday, 29th October 2017 at 9 AM, but you have to reach minimum one hour before so that you don’t face any problem.

HOW TO GET AN ADMITTANCE CARD FOR MDCAT

It doesn’t matter either you have lost the admit card or not. You can still print without any problem if you have the UHS Application Serial Number. Just follow the below steps:

Step 1 – Go To The Site

Go to the Bank Islamic Site to the UHS page.

Step 2 – Search For Your Card

Click on “Search Admittance Card” and write “Unique Application Serial Number” given on their application form.

Step 3 – Download The Admit Card

Click the Download button

Step 4 – Print It Out

Now you have to print it out and you’re ready to go.

WHAT IS THE PAPER PATTERN FOR MDCAT

MDCAT-2017 shall comprise a single question paper containing 220 multiple choice questions

(MCQs) divided into the following four (04) sections:

  • Biology = 88 MCQs
  • Chemistry = 58 MCQs
  • Physics = 44 MCQs
  • English = 30 MCQs

IS THERE ANY NEGATIVE MARKING?

Unfortunately, there is negative marking in MDCAT. For each correct answer, you will be awarded 5 marks, and on each wong answer, one marks will be deducted. But if you don’t attempt an MCQ, then no negative marking will be done.

The duration of the entry test is 150 minutes.

WHAT TO BRING ON THE TEST DATE

The candidates must bring the following two (02) documents with them on the test day

without which they will not be allowed to sit the test:

(a) Admittance Card issued by the University;

(b) Original CNIC/B-Form of the candidate.
