COMSATS has gained an unprecedented reputation in multiple fields over just a couple of decades. Built under the leadership of Nobel Laureate, Dr. Abdul Salam, in 1998 the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) now holds 7 campuses in Pakistan.
Campuses
COMSATS has proved its mettle over the years by expanding its vision to these major cities:
- Islamabad
- Abbottabad
- Wah
- Lahore
- Attock
- Sahiwal
- Vehari
A virtual campus is also operational to facilitate students unable to attend on-campus classes. That’s an extra point for COMSATS!
Faculties
COMSATS has six major faculties with 22 highly organized academic departments spread across its campuses. Choose your favorite discipline from the following major facilities while initiating the admission process:
- Information sciences and technology
- Health sciences
- Business administration
- Science
- Architecture and design
Admission Criteria and Eligibility
Have you decided to take admission in this prestigious institute? Then, let’s find out about the admission criteria.
- The university offers programs in two sessions – fall (September) and spring (February).
- Like most of the government universities, COMSATS requires a 50% score in NTS-NAT result, submitted with the admission form.
- A minimum score of 50% in Intermediate or equivalent (‘A’ Level) examination from a recognized educational board or institution is mandatory for undergraduate admissions.
- An aggregate of NAT score and intermediate marks will determine your chances for admission. The merit primarily depends on this aggregate and the number of applicants in each discipline.
Steps of Admission
The main admission process consists of these crucial steps:
How to Apply?
- Visit the tab for admission on the official website of COMSATS found here http://admissions.comsats.edu.pk/. This will give you the option to apply online for any course.
- Choose a campus and program and fill in some basic details on the tab. You’ll thus be registered with the COMSATS website.
- Read and accept the instructions before providing the personal details including residential address, contact information and CNIC, etc.
- Make sure all the details concerning your educational background and NTS score are well-checked and confirmed before provision.
- COMSATS enlists a number of documents, scanned in an eligible and neat manner that you need to upload. Make sure that the profile photo uploaded on the form is recently clicked and presents your face quite visibly.
- Before final submission, a tab pops up providing admission fee details in this manner:
- Now the students need to wait for the merit list displayed after documents and fees are verified.
Note
Extracurricular activities do not impact general admissions.
