The National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES) is also commonly known as the FAST (Foundation of Advancement of Science and Technology) institute This is a federal degree awarding institute founded in July 2000.

NU-FAST has been repeatedly and consistently ranked among the top educational institutes of Pakistan in the categories of Computer Science and Information Technology. About 11,000 students are enrolled in the various 6 campuses of NU-FAST.

NU-FAST offers the following degree programs in:

3. Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences, Quetta

BUITEMS is a public sector university established in 2002. It has a main Takatu Campus and a Jinnah sub-Campus.

This university has steadily grown to be among the top universities of Pakistan due to its excellent teaching environment and modern research lab facilities.

The course taught in Software Engineering at BUITEMS is a 4-year degree program with 8 semesters. Classes are usually commenced in March and August at BUITEMS.
